Rapid Intervention Crew Member
|
|
This course is based on NFPA 1407: Standard for Training Fire Service Rapid Intervention Crews. The course familiarizes students with the rapid intervention crew concept and gives them the tools to develop or enhance rapid intervention crew programs. Rapid intervention should be considered by any emergency response organization whose personnel enter environments that can place their lives and health in immediate danger. All emergency responders and personnel who may act as Incident Commanders at emergency incidents should be familiar with rapid intervention concepts, so they can effectively use this risk management tool.
