Fire Inspector III

This course is based on NFPA 1031: Standard for Professional Qualifications for Fire Inspector and Plan Examiner. This course provides the participant with an in-depth view of the skills and duties required of the Fire Inspector III. The Fire Inspector III is an individual at the third and most advanced level of progression, who has met the job performance requirements specified in NFPA 1031: Standard for Professional Qualifications for Fire Inspector and Plan Examiner. The Fire Inspector III performs all types of Fire Inspections, Plan Review duties and resolves complex code-related issues.

Due to the NFPA 1030, Standard for Professional Qualifications for Fire Prevention Program Positions standard change, the Fire Inspector I, II, and III series will be transitioning to First Responder Inspector and Fire Inspector.
